We are Hanne and Martin, the people behind Quote Copenhagen. Together, we create a world where Indian textile traditions meet calm Nordic interiors.
Hanne shapes the creative direction, bringing together colours, patterns and textiles. Martin looks after the webshop and the technology that keeps everything running.
We want to inspire you to explore and find the things that fit into your life. A cushion that brings new life to your sofa. A throw for your favourite spot. Or a bag that accompanies you through everyday life.
We have a special love for saris. These long lengths of fabric, worn draped around the body by Indian women, find new life as cushions, throws, bags and other textiles at Quote.
The colours, delicate stitches and traces of the saris’ previous lives remain. Small repairs, variations and seams are part of their character. Many of our sari products are one of a kind, while others share a print but differ in the fabric beneath it.
Quote also brings together linen, velvet, embroidery and handwoven textiles. Let a single cushion set the tone, or combine several patterns with what you already have. There should be room for both calm and colour – and for your home to evolve with you.
